“Starting a career as a food designer might look easy but this could come as a part of two things knowledge and practice. Knowledge could come from the fascination about the profile and may be passionate about it! The practice could come from your cooking or maybe you have a background from a food industry or may be someone who has a degree in food design. If you are someone who knowledge about food and has interest in design. Then getting a degree in the basics of design would help you. This would help you create designs with innovation using your tools.
Depending on your niche you can get yourself trained, as in if you want to become a food designer in bakery field then get a training in that area or get a training as per your interest. This business can be started as a part time and then go full time until you get a recognition and a stable income. This sort of a business would range froma moderate to high investments but then your investment would give you a value when you work with a 5 star or a 7 star hotel as food designer! Investing in yourself is the key!”
